Founded in 2011 in Tirana by a reputable investor, the Canadian Technology Institute has two faculties, 420 students, and nearly 50 academics.
As a result of the negotiations, a goodwill protocol was signed for the transfer of the school owners and the institution to the Turkish Maarif Foundation.
With the preliminary protocol and agreement, the Turkey Maarif Foundation will give its first university education in the world in Albania.
With a number of 420 students and nearly 50 academicians, Maarif Foundation plans to raise this number up to 600 students for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Accreditation processes are continuing on adding new faculty to the university.
